A Suffolk County cop was hit with a 10-count indictment Wednesday for allegedly causing a wrong-way crash that killed a man — and left the officer without a leg.

Officer Robert Scheuerer, 24, showed up to his Central Islip hearing in a wheelchair — his left leg amputated — to plead not guilty in the deadly Sept. 27 crash on Sunrise Highway.

Prosecutors say the 24-year-old cop was off-duty and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .17 — or more than twice the legal limit — at the time of the crash.

The other driver in the crash, Brian Fusaro, 37, died at the scene when his van caught fire.

The top count against Scheuerer is aggravated vehicular homicide, punishable by a maximum of 25-years in prison.
