An off-duty NYPD cop was collared Saturday evening in Queens after punching a woman who spit in his face, police said.

Officer David Rodriguez, 35, was arrested around 6:30 p.m. after allegedly slugging the 26-year-old victim near the corner of 86th Street and 103rd Avenue in Ozone Park, cops said.

Authorities couldn’t immediately say why the woman, who didn’t know Rodriguez, spit in his face.

Rodriguez, charged with misdemeanor assault, was awaiting his arraignment early Sunday morning.
