A judge yesterday gave the green light to a class-action lawsuit that accuses the NYPD of imposing quotas on the number of summonses that had to be issued by its cops.

Under the ruling by Manhattan federal judge Robert Sweet, those eligible to join the suit include everyone whose summonses were dismissed “upon a judicial finding of facial insufficiency and who were ticketed without probable cause” since May 25, 2007.

Nine people sued the city in 2010 over claims that police officers trying to meet quotas slapped them with trumped-up summonses for disorderly conduct or an open-container violation.

The city had no comment.
