Last summer, so-called “Swiss Cheese Man” Angel Alvarez miraculously — almost magically — survived 26 bullet wounds from a police shootout at a Harlem block party.

But for Alvarez, 23, the real magic bullet may be the one pulled from his jaw just recently by doctors at Rikers.

The bullet, from a police service weapon, proves that at least one cop shot Alvarez while he was down or falling, his lawyer, Matthew Galluzzo, said yesterday.

A grand jury, convened some six weeks ago, is sorting out charges in the shootout that ended with the death of Alvarez’s alleged rival, Luis Soto, 23.
