A former Rikers Island correction officer slashed a Nassau County cop yesterday after officers confronted him for chucking rocks at cars, officials said.

Cops found Christopher Sargeant, 32, hiding in his home, where he allegedly slashed the cop with a knife during a struggle.

The officer was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.

Sargeant was undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
