A doctor testified yesterday that alleged cop-sodomy victim Michael Mineo was suffering from an anal tear when he appeared at Brookdale University Hospital immediately after the alleged attack — and said it was “highly unlikely” that the injury was self-inflicted.

Although Dr. Syed Ahmed conceded that the tear was “superficial,” doctors saw some bleeding and a CT scan showed that one of Mineo’s pelvic muscles was inflamed and swollen.

He added that tests for pre-existing conditions came back negative, and that no normal human could inflict such an injury on himself.
