An Internal Affairs sergeant on trial for obstructing justice admitted yesterday that he tipped off a narcotics-cop pal who was under investigation for an alleged cocaine-fueled sex romp at a Brooklyn hotel.

Sgt. Henry Conde, who took the witness stand in his own defense in Brooklyn federal court yesterday, admitted he knew he was breaking NYPD rules when he warned Detective Luis Batista about the departmental probe.

But Conde, 35, claimed he only searched IAB computer logs because he thought the complaint against Batista, 34, was “far-fetched.”
