A man held a woman in his Bronx apartment for about three months and threatened to kill her if she left, cops said.

The 36-year-old victim told cops that Richard Rosa, also 36, has kept her against her will in the apartment on East 199th Street near Decatur Avenue in Bedford Park since early August.

When she tried to escape multiple times, he threatened to kill her, sometimes using a .44 caliber firearm or a knife, according to police.

Rosa was arrested on Friday and slapped with a laundry list of charges – kidnapping in the first degree, criminal possession of a controlled
substance in the third degree, menacing in the first degree, unlawful imprisonment in the first degree, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The woman finally escaped on Friday.

Both the gun and the knife have been recovered, cops said.
