The language of amour has gotten a French-speaking NYPD officer in hot water.

Sgt. Bobby Hadid, 44, was indicted for perjury for allegedly lying during last year’s trial of a Paris-area man accused of a Brooklyn murder.

Hadid translated for two cops on a 2007 trip to Paris to quiz witnesses and a suspect in the Sept. 5, 2001, slaying of Antonio Guzzardi, 34, in Sunset Park.

During Marien Kargu’s trial, the defense asked Hadid whether he’d had any contact with other witnesses since 2007. Hadid answered no.

Lawyer William Martin then produced a January 2008 e-mail from Hadid to Kargu’s wife, Leila Grison, in which Hadid signed off, in French, “Hugs and kisses and see you later.”

“He was trying to step into my client’s life and get in with my client’s wife,” Martin said. Hadid, free on bail, could not be reached yesterday.

Kargu was convicted of second-degree manslaughter. Police said he killed Guzzardi because he gave Kargu drugs.
