Police busted a Queens man, found sprawled out across chairs under a dining-room table, after he ditched his gun loaded with notorious hollow-point bullets, officials said.
Eagle-eyed uniformed Officer James Mormile and Sgt. Brian Goldberg were in an unmarked car when they spotted Horatio Morris, 26, hop a four-foot fence in front of 258-27 147 Ave. in Jamaica around noon today, law enforcement sources said.
They double-parked to watch Morris hop a second fence on the other side of the property, then reappear with a black plastic bag in hand, police said.
When the cops confronted Morris, he dropped the bag and ran inside his house, police said.
Morris’ bag had a 9mm silver Smith & Wesson, loaded with 13 hollow-point bullets, designed to spread out and slow down a target on impact, authorities said.
Emergency Service Unit cops came and busted down the door 45 minutes later. They found Morris comically hiding — laying across several chairs, in hopes the tablecloth would obscure him, officials said.
He was charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, and obstructing governmental administration.
Morris has several arrests on his rap sheet, including for robbery, law enforcement sources said.
