Police have nabbed the deranged man who attacked an off-duty MTA worker in a Chinatown subway station last month.
Ismael Acevedo,41, allegedly confronted Sabrina Scott, 39, on the F-train platform of the East Broadway station and started menacing her at 6:15 p.m. on February 4, police said.
When the bald brute, who weighs 200 pounds, punched Sabrina in the head, a Good Samaritan intervened and tried to subdue the madman but ended up in a tussle with him instead.
Scott was knocked onto the northbound tracks and was rushed to Belleview Hospital where she was treated for lacerations to her head and later released.
The psycho fled the scene but cops tracked him down yesterday and charged him with reckless endangerment and assault.
