A 65-year-old woman was found dead in a pool of blood in the bedroom of her opulent Upper West Side apartment, authorities said.
Linda MacDonald died in an accidental fall, said law-enforcement sources. She was found Friday night by her husband, Stephen MacDonald, in their three-bedroom home on West End Avenue at West 75th Street.
Stephen, a lawyer, is cooperating with law enforcement, sources said.
A building worker said neighbors have made “numerous calls” about the woman over her mental health and alcohol problems.
The woman was once found passed out with her feet on her neighbor’s door and a gash on her leg, the worker said.
