The NYPD helped a woman deliver her baby in the Bronx after her husband got stuck in traffic and the bundle of joy was unable to wait for an ambulance.

Oumy Bajaha, 23, went into labor Tuesday and called 911. NYPD officers quickly reached her apartment and coached her to deliver baby girl Zainab Drammeh.

“Usually, we see people at their worst,” Officer Steven Salvato said Wednesday. “This was a good day where we saw people at their best.”
