Cops are on the hunt for a couple of bandits wanted for a bowling-alley break-in in The Bronx.
Before dawn Friday, the suspects cut their way through the roof of Bowlerland and Hollers Lounge, which boasts “modern cuisine” and black-light bowling, in Eastchester, cops said.
One of the thieves wore a shirt reading ‘Wild Thing.’Surveillance footage Once inside, the thieves, who wore shirts reading “Taylor” and “Wild Thing,” cleared out six cash registers and fled the scene, according to police.
Their images were captured on surveillance cameras taping the 4:50 a.m. burglary.
Both men are believed to be in their 30s.
The bowling alley, which says it has a “world-class pro shop,” was the scene of a reputed Mafia hit on an Italian butcher from Kingsbridge nearly 20 years ago.
In 1995, brothers Mario, 71, and Anthony Petrullo, 68, were pulling out of the parking lot when two armed assassins unleashed a hail of bullets on their car, killing Mario and seriously wounding Anthony.
