A hulking pervert is being sought for sexually attacking a woman in the Bronx, police said.

The sex fiend pounced on the woman from behind, threw her to the ground and began pummeling her before sexually assaulting her on a sidewalk in University Heights on Sunday.

A 40-year-old Good Samaritan stepped in and scared off the creep.

The suspect is spotted on video turning his jacket inside out while fleeing. He is described as a six-foot-tall, 230 pound Hispanic male. He was last spotted wearing a reversible hooded fur coat with black jeans and white sneakers.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for her injuries.
