Brooklyn cops are on the hunt for a perv who groped a 9-year-old girl just a block away from an elementary school, authorities said Thursday.

The sickening attack happened as the young victim was walking on 60th Street near 17th Avenue in Borough Park at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The man grabbed the girl’s buttocks and took off.

Witnesses told police that the man – wearing a red baseball cap and backpack – had been spotted in the neighborhood earlier, looking “creepy” and seemingly looking for victims near PS 48.

A nearby surveillance camera snapped an image of the perv and police hope facial recognition software might help detectives find him, law enforcement sources said.
