Cops are on the hunt for a vandal who spray-painted a swastika onto a Tribeca apartment building, authorities said Wednesday.
The thug – who was captured on surveillance video committing the act – spray-painted the anti-Semitic symbol along with the words, “It’s a vicious cycle” on the side of The Leonard building at 101 Leonard St. at around 3:25 a.m. April 23, police said.
The man also scrawled a Star of David and symbol that appears to be a pair of eyes with a halo over it onto the door of the building.
He then fled on foot toward Broadway.
Cops describe the man as having short black hair and a beard. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket with a shirt, dark shorts, sneakers and a black cross over his back pack.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Crimestoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
