Police have identified the man accused of fatally shooting his 27-year-old love rival on a Manhattan street corner, cops said Monday.

Lee Almonte, 31, allegedly shot Yadel Garcia multiple times in the back as the victim was standing with friends near the corner of Broadway and West 175th Street in Washington Heights just after midnight Dec. 3.

Police said the violence was possibly the result of a love triangle — caused by an ongoing argument over the victim’s wife.

Garcia, who lived in Fort George in Manhattan, was rushed by private means to New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said.

Almonte has been arrested previously for weapons charges and drug possession. A number of other arrests are sealed.

Police described Almonte as approximately 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds.
