Cops on Saturday identified the handcuffed prisoner who escaped police custody after he allegedly pilfered the SoHo Nike store with a female accomplice.

Derek Robinson, 39, along with Alice Scruggs, 21, were stealing items from the sneaker store on Broadway near Spring Street around 7:20 p.m. Friday, cops said. The pair ran out of the store and darted down the block, where cops found them in front of the GUESS store.

Cops had handcuffed Scruggs and were handcuffing Robinson when he bolted, police said.

He ran north on Mercer Street, where cops lost sight of him.

Scruggs, of Cameron, N.C., was charged with possession of burglar tools, petty larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, cops said. She made off with two jerseys.

Robinson remained at large Saturday afternoon.

He is described as black, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds with facial hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, high-top sneakers, and a blue and white shirt.
