NYPD cops were investigating a suspicious package outside Penn Station on Monday evening, which turned out to be a false alarm, authorities said.

Officers were ordering people back near 34th Street and Seventh Avenue around 6 p.m. as they assessed the situation.

“Seriously, we need to start moving,” one cop could be heard telling folks.

At least one entrance to the station is closed as a result, but no trains were delayed, according to MTA officials.

Cops gave the all clear less than an hour later.
