He swore they wouldn’t take him alive.

Brooklyn cops yesterday fatally shot a gunman who pointed an empty pistol at them, authorities said.

Carl Lastorino, 45, had been armed with two loaded pistols when police say he burst into Peter’s Tire and Rim Shop in East New York at around 5 p.m. and screamed, “Peter, this is for you.”

He then opened fire, emptying the first revolver at the victim, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said. As Lastorino fled, he tried to get into a livery cab on Linden Boulevard, and tossed one gun into the back seat.

Seconds later, a sergeant and a rookie arrived and ordered him to drop his other weapon.

Pointing the empty gun at them, Lastorino screamed, “You’re not going to take me alive!” a police source said.

The cops each fired once.
