Cops are hunting for the fiend who shot a Brooklyn man in the face and stole his wallet early Sunday.
The 25-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was in front of 219 Sackman Street in Brownsville at 12:08 a.m. when the gunman blasted him in the face and then took an unspecified amount of cash from his wallet, according to cops.
Paramedics took the victim to Brookdale Hospital with a single gunshot wound to the face. The injury is serious, but he is expected to survive, officials said.
The shooter may have had an accomplice, police said.
