A man and woman stole nearly $25,000 worth of property from a Jewish cemetery in Brooklyn, according to authorities, who released a photo of one of the suspects this week.
A 66-year-old employee of Beth Olam Cemetery on Cypress Hills Street in Cypress Hills saw the man and a female accomplice taking property from the grounds around 4 p.m. April 19, police said late Monday.
The pair swiped seven sets of mausoleum doors and 50 bronze mausoleum vent covers — worth a total of approximately $24,000, cops said.
The man and woman, who are both believed to be in their 30s, fled in an unknown vehicle.
