Police made an arrest in connection to the death of a man who was discovered burning on the side of the Hutchinson River Parkway more than three months ago, cops said Wednesday.
Karim Allah, 26, of Van Nest, was busted around noon Tuesday in connection to the June 15 death of Kevron Marshall, 38, of Wakefield, who was found around 12:15 a.m. on the northbound parkway near Exit 6, toward New Haven.
Firefighters were responding to a call of a rubbish fire at the location and discovered Marshall’s body upon extinguishing the flames, according to the FDNY and NYPD.
Marshall was pronounced dead on scene.
Allah was charged with murder, manslaughter, criminal possession of a weapon and concealment of a human corpse, according to cops.
It remains unclear whether Marshall was burned alive or was already dead when his body was set on fire.
The relationship between the two men is also unclear.
