He didn’t clean up.
A man armed with a broomstick mugged a worker at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, but was quickly nabbed by cops, police said Thursday.
The 34-year-old worker was leaving the restaurant around 11:15 p.m. Wednesday when a man, later identified as Alberto Teliz, 29, began threatening him with a broomstick and demanding money.
The employee managed to run to his car and got inside, but Teliz followed him and entered through the passenger’s side, rummaging around looking for valuables, police said.
Teliz then ran off, but was quickly arrested by responding officers, police said.
He was charged with attempted robbery, attempted assault, menacing and possession of a weapon.
