Police nabbed a heartless man who was wanted for cruelly kicking and slapping a pitbull in Manhattan, authorities said.
Brian Freeman, 28, of the Bronx, walked the dog into the elevator of the Wagner Houses in East Harlem on 120th Street, near Harlem River Drive, and began pummeling the cowering creature, police said.
A detective recognized Freeman after surveillance video captured the heinous assault, police sources said.
He was charged with torturing and injury to an animal.
