Cops nabbed an opportunistic crook who broke into a Harlem BBQ restaurant closed for a coronavirus deep clean, police said Wednesday.

Fredy Basturo, 20, broke into Dinosaur Bar-B-Que near 125th Street and 12th Ave. in Harlem by shattering a window by the front door at around 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, and snuck into the restaurant, cops said.

Once inside, he smashed the cash register and took some cash before trying to escape, according to police.

Cops alerted to the burglary-in-progress arrested him as he was exiting through the back door, police said. He was charged with burglary.

The popular eatery was closed “to thoroughly clean, repair, and disinfect […] from top to bottom,” according to their website.

They expect to open again on Thursday and resume takeout and deliveries “until this thing passes.”

“We want you to know that we are here for you and the community and are taking a moment to be able to bring excellence through out takeout and delivery,” reads the statement.
