Cops arrested the man believed to be the hammer-wielding rapist terrorizing Brooklyn as he was following a woman yesterday in Elmont with a hammer hidden in his backpack, police said.

Suspect Anthony Moore, 19, of Queens Village,allegedly raped a woman in Bushwick woman last week and attempted to rape another victim 11 hours later in Brownsville, police said.

Then, at 2:40 p.m. yesterday, Nassau County cops picked him up as he was allegedly following and harassing a woman in Elmont NY.

He was later s picked out of a lineup and by his previous alleged victims, cops said.

On April 9th Moore allegedly approached an 18-year-old woman and threatened to hit her with his hammer if she didn’t perform oral sex before allegedly raping her.

Later that morning Moore allegedly followed a 22-year-old into her Brownsville apartment and attempted to rape her, cops said. Moore was hit with rape and several other charges.
