He’s not so slick after all.
Cops have nabbed the alleged Vaseline bandit who has terrorized Inwood and Washington Heights with a bizarre string of break-ins.
Armed with a tip, cops found Luis Gonzalez, 40, inside his Bronx home on Echo Place this morning, police said.
Gonzalez was charged with burglary, grand larceny and petit larceny, police said.
The crafty crook used Vaseline to block peepholes before knocking on doors and breaking in when no one was home.
The suspect would steal jewelry, electronics and money, authorities said.
He began his crime binge on Sept. 4 and continued until March 8 – when he pulled off four break-ins on that day.
Three of those March 8 break-ins occurred on either Cabrini Boulevard or W. 187th Street.
