Police are looking for the firebug who tossed some leftover Fourth of July fireworks into a marked patrol car and set it ablaze in Fort Greene.

The miscreant was standing on Carlton Avenue near Atlantic Avenue when he threw a consumer grade aerial shell firework inside the cop car around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, cops said.

It then erupted into flames and caused “substantial damage” to the interior of the car, cops said.

A still frame of the suspect from surveillance footage shows the suspect to be a thin, black male, wearing a white T-shirt and dark-colored pants.
