A woman was pepper-sprayed by cops and taken away in cuffs Wednesday after brawling with a man over social distancing while in line for food stamps, The Post has learned.

The encounter happened just after 1:15 p.m. outside the Brooklyn Food Stamp Department near the intersection of Bond and Schermerhorn streets in Boerum Hill — where hundreds of people were waiting to sign up for the benefits, according to a witness.

The witness said the two started fighting when one of them violated the six-foot distancing rule.

Cops broke up the fight and pepper-sprayed the woman, whose name was not known, before taking her to the 84th Precinct house to be booked, photos show.

The NYPD did not immediately respond for additional details.
