Cops are looking into Congressman Michael Grimm’s State of the Union freak out after he threatened to throw a reporter off a balcony and break him in half “like a boy.”

Capital Police in Washington D.C. have questioned Michael Scotto, who was verbally berated by the hothead congressman after President Obama’s speech on Tuesday night, NY1 said.

Scotto, who has spoken to police about the incident, is not pressing charges.

During the combative exchange, Grimm repeatedly threatened the reporter after Scotto questioned him about allegations of financial malfeasance surrounding his 2010 campaign.

“Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I’ll throw you off this f—ing balcony,” Grimm said.

“You’re not man enough. I’ll break you in half. Like a boy.”

After telling The Post that the reporter “took a cheap shot” at him, Grimm eventually apologized for the blow-up.
