A 21-year-old man was gunned down Tuesday afternoon in Coney Island, authorities said.

The victim, whose identity is being withheld by police pending family notification, was found on Mermaid Avenue near West 24th Street with several gunshot wounds to his torso and legs just after 4 p.m., according to cops.

The bullet-riddled victim was rushed to Coney Island Hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival, officials said.

Police have yet to identify any suspects or a motive in the slaying.
