Cops have released a photo of the suspect who allegedly attacked a woman with a rubber mallet in an Upper East Side subway station.

Alexis Gonzalez, 21 was purchasing a MetroCard at the 96th Street/Lexington Avenue station at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect pulled a mallet out of her purse and whacked Gonzalez in the head, cops said.

Gonzalez, who said the suspect and her boyfriend were heckling her before the attack, was treated for a laceration.
