Police have released surveillance video of the driver who
in Manhattan and dragged her body for about a block — and then calmly got out of his car to move some traffic cones.
The victim was struck in the crosswalk on Tunnel Entrance Street near East 38th Street and her body was dragged all the way to East 37th Street before becoming dislodged around 10:50 a.m. Sunday.
After her body emerged from beneath the Toyota Sienna minivan, the driver turned onto East 37th Street and drove the wrong way before turning onto First Avenue.
The video shows the driver getting out of the van to move some traffic cones that were in his way before continuing on.
The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition.
