Police rescued a man who was about to make a plunge from the Macombs Dam Bridge on Wednesday.

Cops got a call around 9:25 a.m. that a man in his 30s was about to jump from the bridge, which connects Harlem with the Bronx. Emergency Service Unit officers were on scene within minutes and immediately deployed an airbag on the roadway below.

Meanwhile, video of the incident shows the man climbing to the top of the bridge, where he stood at the edge of the north side and at one point took off his white T-shirt and flung it over the bridge.

After two hours, Sgt. Matthew Zucker, detectives Claudio Sanchez and Vincent Caputo and police Officers Daniel MacSweeney, Kirk Baker, and Aramis Ramos managed to secure the shirtless man and lower him onto an airbag below.

He was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition for evaluation.
