Police rescued a man who was threatening to jump from an Upper West Side ledge Thursday morning, officials said.

The man was standing on the 11th-floor ledge of 140 W. 86th St. around 6:20 a.m. when police arrived, cops said.

He was taken into custody and proper actions will be taken, cops said.

It was not immediately known if the man lives at the location.
