A man jumped from the Throgs Neck Bridge on Monday afternoon in an apparent suicide, police said.

The 61-year-old parked his car on the bridge, got out, climbed over the ledge and jumped off around 12 p.m. as other drivers watched, cops said.

He jumped near the bridge’s mid-section where it cuts across the southeastern section of The Bronx and northern Queens and his body was recovered by the NYPD’s Harbor Unit, police said.

The bridge is about 140 feet high.
