The death of a Brooklyn man last year has now been ruled a homicide — 36 years after a 1979 nightclub shooting that left him paralyzed for life, cops said.
Anthony Defonte, 69, was found dead in his Midwood apartment by his girlfriend on Aug. 20, 2014.
On Monday, the Medical Examiner’s Office said the sepsis and pneumonia from which he died was linked to his paralysis. No suspect has been identified.
