A 12-year-old boy wounded in a Harlem shooting does not appear to be the intended target, cops said Monday.
The boy was struck in the leg around 8:30 p.m. Sunday on East 113th Street near Lexington Avenue, and quickly ducked into El Barrio Superette, according to police sources.
He was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remained unclear Monday morning, and no arrests have been made.
