A Nebraskan tourist said she was raped at The Standard Hotel in Manhattan early Sunday, but the man she accused was later released when authorities declined to prosecute, according to sources.
The 27-year-old woman told cops she met three men at a bar inside the hotel in Greenwich Village just after 12 a.m. The victim then brought at least one of them back to her hotel room, where she said he attacked her, sources said.
Police arrested a 24-year-old suspect, but authorities later declined to prosecute him, and he was freed.
He told The Post as he left court that he felt he had been targeted “because I’m black.”
