Police are on the hunt for an escaped prisoner who slipped away from cops this afternoon after she was taken to Harlem Hospital.

The unidentified woman was initially picked up by police earlier in the day for writing a bogus check in Manhattan, sources said. She told cops that she was feeling under the weather and was taken to Harlem Hospital for treatment.

Once there, she managed to give police the slip and is still at large, cops said.

The circumstances surrounding her hospital Houdini act are under investigation.
