Police are searching for a handcuffed 15-year-old girl who escaped from police custody in the Bronx Monday night, sources said.
The youngster bolted from officers in the vicinity of East 172nd Street and Sheridan Avenue at approximately 8:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.
It’s unclear how she escaped, or what she was in custody for at the time she decided to take it on the lam less than a mile from the NYPD’s 44th precinct.
The adolescent escapee was last seen wearing a black hoodie and handcuffs – and an unknown direction of flight.
Cops are still looking for the suspect.
