Cops shot a 55-year-old man after he allegedly threatened them with a knife and a gun in the Bronx early Wednesday, according to police.

Police responded to a 911 call for a man with a weapon at the corner of Zerega and Westchester avenues in Westchester Square around 4 a.m., police said.

Two officers found Ricardo Cardona holding a military-style blade and another weapon that appeared to be a toy gun, police sources said. Officials later clarified that it was actually an antique.

Cops asked the suspect multiple times to drop both weapons, according to police.

The suspect refused and began threatening the officers.

The officers shot him four times in the legs, police sources said.

He was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.

Neither of the cops was injured.

They were both taken to Westchester Square Hospital for treatment and observation.

Investigators recovered a knife and a black powder firearm at the scene.
