Police shot and wounded a motorist who pulled a gun on them during a foot chase and bit a cop subduing him in Queens Village Wednesday night, sources said.
Police recovered this gun from the scene of the shooting.After being pulled over on 217th Street near Hollis Avenue at 11 p.m., the suspect fled on foot, said law- enforcement sources.
While being pursued, he aimed his gun at the cops.
A sergeant fired one shot and struck the man in the leg. During the arrest, the suspect bit a cop.
The suspect was hospitalized in stable condition. The condition of the officer wasn’t immediately known.
