Cops slicker than ever
The NYPD fashion police have given a badly needed makeover to the department’s raincoats.
Police Commissioner Ray Kelly yesterday unveiled the sleek reversible slicker (right), which he said replaces the “cumbersome and difficult-to-wear” version in use since 1988.
The neon-yellow hue scores points for keeping within this season’s hyper-color trend. Plus, the silver reflector stripes — extending all the way to the arms — add a touch of disco glam.
