Cops wounded a man, holding his mom at knife-point, this afternoon during an Upper East Side domestic dispute, law enforcement sources said.
Police got a call for help to 408 E. 65th St., and encountered Edgar Soto holding his mother Flora in their sixth-floor apartment at 1:55 p.m., authorities said.
Officers ordered the man to put the knife down before a sergeant hit him with a Taser, sources said.
Soto still didn’t drop the knife, so two officers fired four shots.
He was struck in the leg and taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital. He’s expected to survive his wound.
The woman was also injured in the gunfire. She was also taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
