Sit, stay, heal!

A tidal wave of adorable corgis hit Huntington Beach on Saturday for an annual gathering of the pointy-eared, short-legged pups.

The paws-itively wild scene at SoCal Corgi Beach Day saw hundreds of the high-energy dogs and their devoted owners descend on the sand for the seaside shindig.

Known as “the biggest corgi party on the planet,” the festival has grown from a small 2012 meetup of 15 dogs into a full-blown canine carnival drawing thousands of pooches twice a year.

This year’s theme, “Tiki Beach Pawty” (aka “Big Corg-huna Energy”), added a tropical twist to the tail-wagging festivities.

On Saturday, the pint sized-pups fetched balls and raced along the surf while showing off festive attire — from Dodgers caps and tiny sombreros to Easter bunny ears and oversized ski goggles.

Some enjoyed yoga sessions with their owners, as well as massages and mellow SoCal vibes.

Guests enjoyed fare from local food trucks and a “Corgi Marketplace,” with vendors selling pet supplies, gifts and treats.

The event’s highlights included the Corgi Costume Contest, Best Corgi Butt, Corgi Limbo and the Corgonut Pie Eating Contest.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are a herding breed from Wales whose name means “dwarf dog,” with folklore claiming the dogs were once the steeds of fairies and elves.

Known for their friendly personalities and intelligence, corgis have royal cred, too: Queen Elizabeth II owned more than 30 in her lifetime, helping catapult the breed to worldwide fame.
