Cornell University’s hunt for a temporary high-tech campus in Manhattan was achieved like so many other searches these days: using Google.

Google stepped forward yesterday to donate more than 22,000 square feet at its Chelsea headquarters for Cornell to use as the temporary site of its new graduate high-tech school.
