Haunting before-and-after photos show popular Big Apple tourist destinations deserted as the city grapples with the coronavirus pandemic.

The satellite images taken on Nov. 4, 2019 — weeks before the virus first emerged in Wuhan, China — showed the Statue of Liberty, Central Park and Battery Park bustling with visitors.

But after the first state cases were detected, the NYC mainstays appeared abandoned in new snaps taken March 11.

The photos come as many New Yorkers have remained in their homes in response to calls from officials to self-isolate to help prevent the spread of the virus.
